I had a blast today at La Voix Studio in Studio City! I was a half hour late because I had trouble finding the building. Traffic was very minimal on the 101. I was really excited to finally be able to meet my singing coach, Shoshana Phillips in person and be able to record a part of my voice reel as well. We recorded me singing Plain White T’s Hey There Delilah and Christina Duane’s I Love Oregon. I actually didn’t want to leave when my 2 hour session was up. I felt so at home and felt a pure sense of peace and acceptance from Shoshana and the environment. There are no acting studios or schools that focus specifically on singing in Alhambra or the surrounding vicinity. It was a lot of fun to hang out with someone who really understood my love and passion for the arts. I am really excited to come again next Friday to do another recording as well as on Monday June 6th and the 13th.
